About the book

The concept of this dynamic book was given to Author Deborah Juniper-Frye in 2020.  But it wasn’t until October 2021 when she received the book title and the vision for this legacy piece.  The collaboration of Grief Through His Eyes will be composed of heartache, trials, trauma, unforeseen road blocks, and so much more.  Come alone side this 5X Amazon Best-Selling Author, as she introduce these 11 Courageous Co-Authors, who will share their story of endurance, overcoming, and resilience.   According to SocialWorkToday.com, there is evidence that men are more likely than women to remain silent or grieve in isolation, engage in action-oriented forms of grief expression, or lose themselves in distractions, such as work or throwing themselves into a new relationship. It’s time to bring the men into the conversation, to “Seeing Grief From Their Point Of View”. Get ready to be entangled with each heart tugging story that will be full of inspiration, authenticity, and hope! 🧡

About The Author

Dr. Naman H. Potts, Jr.

Dr. Naman H. Potts, Jr. is the senior founding pastor and prelate of Bread of Heaven Community Church Inc. of Virginia Beach, VA. Born to the late Bishop Naman H. and the late Mother Connie Potts, he was nurtured in the way of the Lord at his father’s church, Holy Temple Universal Christian Church. A native of Norfolk, VA, Bishop attended Norfolk Public Schools and later earned a Certificate in Transportation from Bristol Transportation Institute in Bristol, Pennsylvania.
Called of God, Potts was licensed to preach by Bishop L.E. Willis, II in September 1993. He was ordained an Elder in the Church of God in Christ, Inc. four years later.

After months of earnest prayer and faithful planning, the Lord allowed this man of God to found Bread of Heaven Outreach Center in March 1997. Continuing to serve God and His people, this young pastor was consecrated as a Bishop in the Lord’s Church in 2006. God has certainly favored this work. Many have been delivered and set free through his ministry.

Potts’ educational preparation for the gospel include the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, Master of Arts Christian Counseling at Omega Bible Institute & Seminary in Monroe, LA and Doctor of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, GA.

Dr. Potts and his wife, Dr. Kelli, live in the Hampton Roads area. They have been married for over thirty years and have two adult sons.

“Like so many of us, I was naive to grief. Because of this naivety, I did not know that grief could be made manifest from an encounter where physical death was not present.”
