About The Author

Cornell Cary

Cornell Cary is a retired Insurance Agent and has worked in this field for over 32 years. He has taught for several years as an adjunct professor at Saint Leo University and is currently employed with the Chesapeake Public School System. He has earned a B.S. degree in Economics
from Old Dominion University, a B.S. degree in Marketing from Norfolk State University, as well as, a MBA in Marketing from Strayer University. Cornell is an alumnus of Project Inclusion, which is an organization under the direction of Hampton Roads’ United Way. Project Inclusion trained minorities for several weeks to be able to sit on boards for non-profit organizations. In addition, he is an active member of the Berkley Confidence Communicators Toastmaster Club.

Cornell has a passion for reading, listening to music, gardening, and keeps active with walking several miles each day. He loves touching the lives of youth and has served over 30 years in the Youth and Family Services at Calvary Revival Church, Norfolk, Virginia. He has enjoyed serving as a Christian Education Teacher for the first through fifth graders.
